Reality on a Stick

For a guy that works so hard to stay connected, I have to admit that I’ve failed miserably this month. My wife and I decided to move about 6 weeks ago. It didn’t even cross my mind that I might have to order an internet connection that far in advance, but now that we’re settled in and jonesing for optic fiber, that’s what we were told: 4-8 weeks. Yes, I live in Japan. Not in Tokyo, sure, but last time I checked, Japan was still the #2 economy and high-tech capital of the world. Absolutely ridiculous.

I’m hustling back and forth between offices to get online as much as possible, but reduced internet time has most drastically compromised my blogging time–can’t say that my wife is terribly upset about that:-) I’ll do my best to get a post out every other day, and I’ll ask a few trusted friends to cover as flat-black has kindly started doing already.
