You really should take a look at this exhibition honoring those who have lost their lives in Iraq. It is certainly quite powerful, even from a distance through a video.
And it seems that the exhibition has now grown too large for traveling, due the mounting number of casualties. Apparently, it’s physically unmanageable to cart around that many pairs of boots and display lists of names that long. It’s been divided into 50 state-wide exhibitions that are meant to carry the same effect that the original protest once carried. It’s a sad day when 1/50 of reality is enough to move the soul.
